SPECIFICATION
PTFE (Teflon®) is an industrial plastic which is consisted of
long and linear fluorine saturated carbon chains. Thanks to the
strong connection between molecular structure of fluorine and carbon atoms,
it processes the superior properties not found in any other plastic.
The work temperature of PTFE (Teflon®) is between -250 OC and +250 OC.
It has high endurance against all industrial chemicals, moisture and conditions.
Among all solids, it has the minimum static and dynamic friction coefficient,
superior electrical isolation, anti-stickiness, and anti-burning features.
Thanks to its superior mechanical characteristics, PTFE (Teflon®) has become
the preferred product in many areas.
To increase PTFE (Teflon®)'s endurance against corrosion and deformation
under loads, to decreases thermal expansion coefficient, to make it get
thermal and electrical conductivity; filling matters such as glass fibers,
carbon, bronze, molybdenum disulphide, surgical steel are added with different
ratios to make different PTFE (Teflon®) alloys according to necessity. |
